PT Datang DSSP Power Indonesia (DDPI)

PT Datang DSSP Power Indonesia (DDPI) is a joint venture as a result from strategic partnership between China Datang Corporation and Sinarmas which was inaugurated on December 23, 2020. DDPI is headquartered in Jakarta and has 3 IPPs operating across several areas in Indonesia namely Sumatera Selatan (Sumsel-5), Kendari (Kendari-3), and Kalimantan Tengah (Kalteng-1).

Sumsel Power Plant, with an installed capacity of 2×175MW, is located in south Sumatra, Indonesia. The project has contributed to the supply of electricity to PLN for region of South Sumatra and has significantly helped reducing numbers of rotating blackouts. It won Zero Accident Award from the Ministry of Manpower in 2019 and the Subroto Award from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in 2021.

Kendari has capacity of 2x50MW and located in Southeast Sulawesi,Indonesia. The project has contributed to providing electricity supply for Southeast Sulawesi, which brought a positive impact on the economic growth of surrounding communities, especially to support nickel smelter business in Kendari. It had won Zero Accident Award and had achieved the Platinum Award for Covid-19 Prevention and Control in 2022 from the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia.

Kalteng Power Plant, with an installed capacity of 2×115 MW, is located in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. The electricity supply from Kalteng  is expected to meet with the electricity needs in Central Kalimantan Province. The project received the Best Performance Power Plant Award in 2022 from PLN Kalimantan.
