Datang Guoxin Binhai Offshore Wind Power Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Datang Binhai Wind Power) is a subsidiary of China Datang Marine Energy Industry Co., Ltd. Its main business includes power production, operation and sales, development, construction, operation and management of renewable energy. The shareholders of Datang Binhai Wind Power include China Datang Corporation Renewable Power Co.,Ltd., who holds 60% of the equity, and Jiangsu Guoxin Co., Ltd, with 40% equity.

Jiangsu Binhai 300MW Offshore Wind Project is the first offshore wind power project independently developed and constructed by CDT. The project is located in the sea area between the abandoned Yellow River estuary and Biandan port in Binhai County, Yancheng City. With the central location about 21 km away from the coast, it covers a sea area of 48 square kilometers. It has a total installed capacity of 301.8MW with 96 wind turbines. The project was connected to grid on December 25, 2019, with annual generated power expected to be over 800GWh.

Jiangsu Binhai 300MW Offshore Wind Project is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by 700,000 tons, reduce soot emissions by 25,300 tons, and save 2.4 million cubic meters of water each year, which is of great significance for optimizing energy structure, improving ecological environment and promoting the economy.
