During their meeting, Zou extended a warm welcome to Mirzamakhmudov and thanked Uzbekistan's Ministry of Energy for its support for China Datang's development in Uzbekistan. He also gave a brief introduction to China Datang's reforms and development.

The governments of China and Uzbekistan attach great importance to friendly cooperation between the two countries and have created favorable conditions for China Datang's investment and development in Uzbekistan, Zou said.

Zou pointed out that Uzbekistan has abundant new energy resources, and noted that China Datang lays great emphasis on energy cooperation with Uzbekistan. He said that China Datang will take the signing of the agreement on the cooperation project as an opportunity to further strengthen communication and exchanges with Uzbekistan's Energy Ministry, actively respond to Uzbekistan's needs for development, expand and enrich bilateral cooperation, and contribute to Uzbekistan's green and low-carbon energy transition.

Mirzamakhmudov spoke highly of China Datang's achievements in new energy and other fields and shared information about Uzbekistan's reforms and development. He said Uzbekistan and China enjoy close and friendly relations, and that Uzbekistan supports Chinese companies in participating in energy development and relevant construction projects in Uzbekistan.

China Datang's rich experience and obvious technological advantages in clean energy and other fields agree with Uzbekistan's needs for energy transformation, Mirzamakhmudov noted.

Uzbekistan hopes that the two sides will take their cooperation on the 300MW PV project as a starting point for continuous efforts to intensify cooperation, deepen cooperation in PV projects, and share experience and carry out pragmatic cooperation in areas like the development and construction of wind power projects, clean and efficient utilization of coal power, and energy storage and regional power grids, Mirzamakhmudov said.

Uzbekistan's Energy Ministry will ensure quality services for China Datang's investment and development in Uzbekistan, the minister added.
