Datang Wuwei Solar Power Station is located in Chengdong Science and Technology Demonstration Park, Wuwei City, Gansu, China (20 km from Lianggu Highway, Xinditan, Qingyuan Town, Liangzhou District, Wuwei City, Gansu Province). It situates at the edge of the Tengger Desert and is China's first photovoltaic power plant in a desert connected to the grid. The power plant, covering an area of about 45 mu and with a total installed capacity of 0.5 MW, is invested and constructed by Datang Gansu Power Generation Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of CDT.
