China Datang has participated in the China-ASEAN Expo for 23 consecutive years, and for the first time, it has become the event's Chief Strategic Partner, showcasing its achievements in China-ASEAN energy cooperation, green transition and AI empowerment.

The 23rd China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) and the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit opened at the Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, on September 17.

From its first appearance at the Expo in 2004 to its role as Chief Strategic Partner in 2026, these 23 years are both a history of China Datang's deepening cooperation in ASEAN and a history of mutual empowerment between an energy enterprise and a national-level exhibition platform.

Energy is the cornerstone of economic and social development, and a key area of China-ASEAN cooperation. Leveraging the open platform of CAEXPO, China Datang has been deeply engaged in energy infrastructure development. Over 18 years of operation in ASEAN, the company has more than 2,400 megawatts of installed and under-construction capacity, over 1,500 overseas employees with a localization rate of nearly 70%.

As a Chief Strategic Partner of the 23rd CAEXPO, China Datang will seize the opportunities presented by the CAFTA 3.0 upgrade. The company will also, by making full use of the Expo's cooperation platform, promote advanced energy technology solutions across ASEAN, pursue mutual benefit and win-win outcomes in serving Belt and Road cooperation, and contribute China's solutions and China Datang's strength to building a closer China-ASEAN community with a shared future.
