China Datang's subsidiary in Uzbekistan, Datang Buka New Energy Co., Ltd., invited a delegation from the International Center on Small Hydro Power (ICSHP) to participate in the 28th Uzbekistan Energy Week, held from May 12 to 14 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Datang Buka New Energy Co., Ltd. provided full support for the delegation throughout the visit to ensure its smooth participation and successful completion of relevant activities.

During the event, the delegation held talks with Uzbekistan's Minister of Energy Jurabek Mirzamahmudov, exchanging ideas on topics including hydropower upgrading, zero-carbon power project development, innovative energy storage applications, clean energy technology sharing, joint training of energy professionals, and cross-border vocational education cooperation.

The delegation also delivered specialized lectures at Tashkent State Technical University, the regional power grid training center, and the Ministry of Energy's training center, sharing China's experience in power infrastructure development.

In addition, the delegation met with Uzbekistan's state-owned hydropower company, Uzbekhydroenergo JSC, reaching consensus on the renovation of existing hydropower plants, smart upgrades, and the establishment of joint operation and maintenance standards.
