On April 23, PT. DSSP Power Sumsel, part of China Datang's overseas power assets in Indonesia, carried out its monthly corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, the "Sumsel classroom," at SD Negeri 1 Sindang Marga, a local primary school in Kecamatan Bayung Lencir, Indonesia's South Sumatra province.

The activity was aimed at supporting the development of local basic education with sustained efforts.

The CSR activity for this month focused on two signature courses: English and the digital library.

By integrating foundational teaching with modern technology, PT. DSSP Power Sumsel offered students a richer and more engaging learning experience, helping bridge gaps in access to diverse educational resources for this rural school.

During the English class, volunteers employed interactive teaching methods such as games and role-playing dialogues, sparking students' interest and boosting their confidence in learning.

The electronic teaching devices donated by the company not only expanded learning content but also opened new ways for students to explore knowledge independently during the digital library class.

Executives and staff representatives of the company observed the entire process and presented commemorative gifts to outstanding students after class.
