Lyu Jun Attends China-Uzbekistan Entrepreneurs Symposium
During the official visit to the People’s Republic of China, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev participated in the China-Uzbekistan Entrepreneurs Symposium in Beijing on September 2.
China Datang Chairman Lyu Jun and Vice President Li Jianwei were invited to the event.

During his meeting with President Mirziyoyev at the symposium, Lyu expressed appreciation to the President and the Uzbek government for their continued support of China Datang’s projects and operations. He also provided updates on the commissioning of the Buka Solar PV project, the development of the follow-up projects, and the latest advancements of the joint innovation center.
President Mirziyoyev highly commended China Datang’s achievements in Uzbekistan over the past two years. He expressed his support for the implementation of the corporation's future projects, emphasizing that these projects will serve as model projects under the Belt and Road Initiative and further deepen bilateral cooperation.

Earlier the same day, Uzbekistan’s First Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjaev held a discussion with over ten Chinese business representatives to discuss the implementation of the major strategic projects between the two countries.
During the session, Lyu shared insights and recommendations on energy project development with senior officials from relevant Uzbek ministries and regional governments.
Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan Jurabek Mirzamahmudov acknowledged China Datang’s strict compliance with agreements and high-quality execution of projects, noting their significant contribution to the country’s renewable energy sector. He emphasized that the upcoming new energy projects will further elevate bilateral cooperation.
Senior executives from China Datang’s International Business Department and China Datang Overseas Investment Co., Ltd. were also present at the above events.
