On November 27, the 17th China-ASEAN Expo and China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit opened in Nanning, Guangxi. President Xi Jinping delivered a video speech at the opening ceremony. Yang Jiechi, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Director of the Office of the Central Commission for Foreign Affairs, attended the opening ceremony.

CDT Vice President Liu Guangying was invited to attend the opening ceremony and the China-ASEAN Power Cooperation and Development Forum.

Themed "Building the Belt and Road, Strengthening digital economy cooperation", this year’s expo was held in the form of “online + offline” for the first time. Successfully controlled COVID-19 epidemic, it is the third major international economic and trade event hosted by China following the China International Fair for Trade in Services and China International Import Expo, demonstrating China's commitment to further opening wider. China Datang actively participated in the ASEAN Expo and had set up a special exhibition booth in the smart energy and power exhibition hall to display CDT's high-quality development achievements and build the image of a world-class energy enterprise.
