In 2020, Myanmar Dapein I Hydropower Station of Datang(Yunnan) United Hydropower Developing Co.,Ltd. took multiple measures and achieved good results in epidemic prevention and power generation, and completed annual power generation task 66 days ahead of schedule. As of December 31, the power station has achieved 3102 consecutive days of safe production and generated 1.135 billion kWh of electricity, both hitting record high.

Located in northern Myanmar, Dapein I Hydropower Station is the first overseas project invested, constructed and operated by CDT, and signed BOT contract with Myanmar government. Being a power corridor and a power exchange hub for power interconnection between China and Myanmar, the power station has continuously provided reliable, stable and clean power to Bhamo area of Myanmar, increased local job opportunities, and made contributions to improving the living standards of local people and boosting the economy.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic in 2020, the power station has prepared brochures on epidemic prevention, purchased special epidemic insurance for Chinese and Myanmar employees, distributed nutrition and epidemic prevention supplies to frontline employees, and donated to local residents and Myanmar employees more than 1,000 items of epidemic prevention materials and daily necessities, including masks, thermometers and disinfectants, demonstrating the profound friendship between the two peoples who overcome difficulties together and help each other. The company has maintained "zero infection" of COVID-19 for 12 consecutive months.
