On July 16, 2019, China Datang Corporation Ltd. released 2018 Social Responsibility Report to the public. This is the 13th report issued by China Datang since 2007.

2018 is an extremely important year in the history of CDT, and it is also a year of overcoming difficulties and forging ahead. 2018 Social Responsibility Report, with the theme of "New Era, New Datang, New Chapter", focused on CDT's efforts to build a world-class enterprise, and its positive actions and achievements to fully fulfill its social responsibilities.

The report comprehensively elaborates on six aspects, namely "value creation", "production safety", "green development", "innovation-driven development", "international cooperation", and "common development", focusing on CDT’s new measures to implement new development concept , push energy production and consumption reform and lead new normal of economic development. The report enriches relevant content of supply chain management, extending to the upstream and downstream of value chains, transmits the concepts of integrity, law-abiding and win-win cooperation, and drives partners to jointly perform social responsibilities.

The report makes use of stories and presents a total of 23 liability cases. Special attention was paid to the reactions of all walks of life, with "stakeholder feedback" showing external evaluation of CDT’s performance of responsibilities. The report also introduces the "QR code" for extended reading. By scanning the code, readers can learn about some influential media reports on China Datang in 2018, thus transparency of responsibility fulfillment is enhanced.

The report is released in three versions simultaneously, namely paper version, online electronic version and WeChat H5 version. English version will be issued in order to get feedback from all walks of life more widely.
