The 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE) kicked off in Shanghai on Nov. 5th.

Liu Mingsheng, President of China Datang, attended the opening ceremony.

During the event, Liu and his delegation visited the booths of Mitsubishi Power, GE, Siemens Energy, and Hitachi Energy, engaging in fruitful discussions on energy technology development and business cooperation with top executives including Ramesh Singaram, President of GE ASEAN & ANP，President & CEO of GE Gas Power Asia, Anne Laure de Chammard, Member of the Executive Board of Siemens Energy AG, Yao Zhenguo, Senior Vice President of Siemens Energy AG, Chairman of Siemens Energy China, and Zhang Jinquan, Head of Greater China of Hitachi Energy.

During his stay in Shanghai, Liu also had friendly exchanges with Wang Hua, District Mayor of Jing'an , regarding cooperation between Jing’an District and China Datang.

He also met with Wang Lixin, President of China Railway Construction Corporation Limited, and witnessed the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement between China Datang Overseas Investment Co., Ltd. and China Railway 15th Bureau Group Co., Ltd.

Peng Yong, Vice President of China Datang participated in a CIIE sub-forum themed Empowering Businesses with Open Innovation and witnessed the signing of contracts by China Datang.

China Datang inked equipment and material procurement contracts with three foreign companies from Japan and Switzerland, totaling nearly 50 million US dollars on the afternoon of November 6th. It marks China Datang's sixth consecutive year of participation in the CIIE, with the total procurement amount reaching nearly 1.5 billion US dollars.

Executives of relevant departments and enterprises from China Datang as well as related personnel from CWEME and CDTO participated in the above-mentioned activities.
