On December 29, 2019, Datang Huayin Yiyang Beigang Changhe 100MW photovoltaic power plant, CDT’s first water surface floating photovoltaic power plant, was successfully connected to the grid for power generation. The project integrates photovoltaic power generation and fish farming to form a power generation mode of "generating power on the top and fish farming below", realizing fishery production increase, energy saving and emission control. At the same time, the blocking of water by the photovoltaic array on the water surface significantly reduces the evaporation of the water surface, inhibits the reproduction of algae in the water, and effectively protects water resources.
