CDT has continuously deepened its cooperation with well-known international companies, and has established comprehensive strategic partnerships with dozens of large-scale enterprises such as EDF, Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), etc., to carry out substantial cooperation in power-related fields. CDT has also actively participated in various international organizations and associations, and has successively joined the Association of the Electricity Supply Industry of East Asia and the Western Pacific (AESIEAP), the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), B20 Summit, related associations and member units of the Council of Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), etc.

Fruitful International Exchanges

On the basis of grasping the development of overseas projects and business operations, China Datang actively utilizes the multilateral exchange and cooperation platforms such as CCPIT, the International Chamber of Commerce, and the Silk Road Business Council to comprehensively promote project investment, scientific and technological innovation, and personnel training with internationally renowned enterprises. In March 2018, CDT and GE jointly planned and launched a media promotion event with the theme of " Exploring Digitalization of Electric Power and Promoting the Transformation to a Green and Efficient Energy System." More than 20 influential media such as Xinhua News Agency, Economic Daily interviewed Datang Beijing Gaojing Thermal Power Plant.

In April 2018, the China International Chamber of Commerce, World Federation of Chambers of Commerce, and Silk Road Business Council jointly organized the “Belt and Road” Trade and Investment Forum. CDT held “Datang Night Gala " as the chairman of the Silk Road Business Council. The event was attended by more than 400 domestic and foreign guests from more than 60 countries.

In June 2018, during the French Prime Minister's visit to China, under the witness of the Chinese and French Prime Ministers, CDT and EDF signed the Cooperation Agreement on Low-Carbon Energy in China and ABroad.

In September 2018, Chen Feihu, then President of CDT, attended the 2018 China-Africa Cooperation Forum Beijing Summit and the 2018 High-level Dialogue between China-Africa Leaders and Business Representatives and the 6th China-Africa Entrepreneurs Conference.

On October 21, 2019, the UK-China Offshore Wind Power Business Seminar was held at CDT headquarter.
