Tao Yunpeng, CFO of China Datang, attended the 3rd Tashkent International Investment Forum in Uzbekistan, and made an inspection tour to Buka Solar PV project from April 29 to May 3.

During his stay in Uzbekistan, Tao made a special visit to Chinese Ambassador to Uzbekistan Yu Jun, and engaged in discussions with him on China Datang’s business development in Uzbekistan.

He also had comprehensive discussions with Jurabek Mirzamahmudov, Minister of Energy, and Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade to speed up Buka project and the subsequent development of new energy projects.

In an exchange with Anvarjon Ergashev, First Deputy Chairman of the Uzbek Industrial and Construction Bank, and head of the central Asia working group of the Export-Import Bank of China, Tao discussed with them Uzbekistan's financial system, monetary policy, and financing cooperation.

Besides, he talked with personnel from China Electric Power Planning and Engineering Institute to learn Uzbekistan's energy sector plan.

Tao inspected the Buka PV project and had meetings with relevant personnel at the Central Asia Representative Office of China Datang Overseas Investment Co., Ltd (CDTO) and the Buka project office.

He emphasized to expedite the development of overseas clean energy projects, complete the preliminary work with high quality, and effectively manage project risks to ensure the success of the Buka PV project, in line with requirements of China Datang’s 2024 Annual Conference.

Personnel from relevant departments of China Datang and CDTO also participated in the activities.
